The intervention concerned the renovation works with seismic improvement and energy efficiency of the apartment building. The seismic improvement intervention involved the installation of steel plates on the unconfined nodes and the installation of anti-liftoff netting on the infill, while the energy efficiency intervention involved the installation of an insulation system on the vertical walls and horizontal surfaces, the replacement of all the window and door frames, the replacement of the winter air-conditioning systems, and the installation of solar screens. An elevator platform was also installed in the stairwell connecting the entire steel and glass building.
